On the playground was where he spent most of his days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school

Started making trouble in his neighborhood
He got in one little fight and his mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' to Miami'

Representing the West Coast, CP brings a passion for the ocean, recreation and activity management. It’s safe to assume that it all began when he was 9 years old and captained his first sailboat in Channel Islands, California. Even though it was only 7 feet long, CP was granted a pair of sea legs that would eventually steer him towards a career in the cruise industry. During CP’s high school and college summers, you could find him coaching as a youth sailing instructor and managing various recreation programs.
Following university the sea was calling and CP decided to take a different plunge. In 2010 he began working onboard with Royal Caribbean, entertaining children from 6 months to 17 years of age. Nicknamed, “Penguin,” he focused on his love for youth programs and waddled his way around the fleet as an Adventure Ocean Manager. Eventually he settled on the world’s largest cruise ship, which saw up to 2,200 children per week. In March 2014, he was summoned by Celebrity to join their shoreside entertainment team. CP currently oversees fleet wide Youth, Family and Teen operations, as well as assists with Guest Activities and our Enrichment Program. Specialist, Vocal Casting
Auri Marcus first found her passion for singing when she was 9 years old, after a happy accident of taking her first voice lesson at her sister's recommendation. From there, she landed her first manager and performed in the Pre-Broadway musical Josephine, based on the life of Josephine Baker.
Auri honed her craft at the prestigious French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts while pursuing her education, culminating in a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College and MA in Educational Theatre from New York University. While in undergraduate school, Auri interned alongside casting directors Jamibeth Margolis and Gayle Seay, now of Jamibeth Margolis, CSA and Wojcik-Seay Casting, respectively. She always knew that she would return to the world behind the table but craved travel and performing.
After a national tour and performing throughout New York and developing new work in various cabaret and Off-Broadway venues, Auri found a love for the sea as she traveled Alaska and the Panama Canal on Holland America's ms Statendam, where she also met her husband. Shortly thereafter, Auri toured the UK with Madagascar Live! produced by DreamWorks and Stage Entertainment. It was then that Auri found and fell in love with Celebrity Cruises, performing on the Silhouette and Eclipse throughout the Mediterranean, Baltic and Caribbean. She is excited for the opportunity to work in a different capacity for Celebrity and return to her original dream of working behind the table. In her new position as the Casting Specialist for Vocalists, Auri gets to give other singers the chance to travel the world and perform just the way she had.
